Created by winegrower Derek Rohlffs, Bravium is the culmination of meticulous care in the vineyards and a patient approach in the cellar. Derek takes his cues from tradition. He doesn’t alter what the earth gives him. He’s a classic minimalist. Derek draws on hillside and mountaintop fruit in the coveted cool-climate vineyards of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley and Mendocino’s Anderson Valley to create terroir-driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Anderson Valley
Located approximately 100 miles north of San Francisco, Anderson Valley is settled in the hills of the coastal region of Mendocino County. Known in the old days for its redwood timber and lumber mills, as well as apple farming, the Anderson Valley has become a prominent wine growing region, producing some of the world’s greatest Pinot Noir and Sparkling wines. Due to the predominant coastal influences in this region, Anderson Valley is primarily known for its cool climate and foggy mornings, making it the perfect growing region for varietals like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
