Cheese Puffs

A simple but delicious appetizer.

Try these crowd-pleasing cheesy bites at your next gathering. Pairs well with a bold red wine like Terra d’Oro Zinfandel.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 can Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Marinara (optional)

Directions

  1. Slice 8 oz. Mozzarella Cheese into 21 cubes.
  2. Roll out the Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust.
  3. Slice the Pizza Crust into 21 squares.
  4. Add Mozzarella cheese into the square and roll into a ball.
  5. Assemble the dough balls into a Tree Shape (optional).
  6. Melt butter and brush on top of the dough.
  7. Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
  8. Finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese on top.
  9. Serve with warm Marina Sauce (optional) and your favorite Red wine from Terra d’Oro!
